About Us

We started AZ Future Volleyball by creating a space for family members and younger athletes who wanted to keep playing volleyball after the regular AIA high school season ended. Coach Iman Isom, who coaches JV volleyball at Betty Fairfax High School in Laveen, AZ, and her peers recognized a major gap in the Southwest: players needed focused development on fundamentals and technique that simply couldn’t fit into the constraints of a school season.

Local club volleyball options were either nonexistent or inaccessible—particularly for low-income and minority athletes.
